In addition students will commence the treatment of a once-weekly psychotherapy patient. This supervised treatment will be undertaken within the Adult Department. Students will initially be supervised on a fortnightly, individual basis. With their supervisor's permission, students will undertake the treatment of a second case, thus receiving weekly individual supervision.

Successful completion of D59 will be based on having completed the clinical requirements of the course and on the assessment of the clinical supervisors, who will determine if the students have attained the necessary level of clinical competence.
